Whiskey is a special drink, with its own “zest”. It is considered a Scottish invention (Scotch) or Irish (Irish whiskey), but is produced all over the world. Scotland and Ireland traditionally dispute the right to be called the birthplace of whiskey. And each country has its own recipe, tradition, and characteristics. Range of colors: from golden to rich amber. The palette of flavors is even wider: with floral, fruity, smoky notes. The aftertaste of whiskey is especially appreciated - long and warm.
Good whiskey can be purchased in Belarus today. Unlike wine, we have no difficulties with raw materials for this drink. Rye, wheat, corn, and barley can serve them. The famous spirit can be produced directly from grain or from malt. Malt is the sprouted seeds of barley and other cereal crops.
The grain drink is cheaper. Single malt whiskey is the most elite and expensive.
Different countries around the world have their own special approach to whiskey production. Some recipes require double and even triple distillation. After this, the distillates are aged in oak barrels. This way they are saturated with a specific taste and woody aromas. Then blending occurs - mixing different types of distillate. The blended whiskey is again aged in barrels for some time. The famous Scotch whiskey (Scotch) is made from peat-smoked malt, and it leaves a pleasant “smoky” aftertaste.
The recipe for the Belarusian drink was developed jointly by Belalco and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus. Our plant produces blended varieties that combine grain and malt distillates. Only the purest artesian water is used in production, the taste of which largely determines the taste of the final product.
You can buy Belalko whiskey in Minsk, Brest and other cities of Belarus. Belarusian whiskey is prepared using the same technology as in the West, and in the best traditions, but at the same time its price is much lower than that of foreign analogues.
This drink requires a large investment of time and labor. We hope you will appreciate its complex taste.
